ZORT - MAMBO POA MARTINO EP

The genesis of Zort’s Mambo Poa Martino came about when a filmmaker friend of the group spent time in Nairobi making a documentary about street football. During his time there he recorded a group of kids from the Nairobi Children’s Remand Home, and their vocals inspired Zort to record the track Mambo Poa Martino.

First up on the EP is a club remix by Berlin’s Ben Mono, an irresistible mix of vintage house and bubbling electro synths. Next up is a stripped-bare minimal house reworking by Cordoba resident Cristobal Paz, followed by a downtempo masterclass by the Frikstailers and the stunning original version by Zort.
