ZORT
Zort is the pseudonym under which Andres Oddone, Andres Zunino and Adrian Bertol perform and record together.
In 1998 the story of Zort begins with Andres Oddone and Agustin Goya recording the album Anillo Saturiano, a collection of compositions inspired by trip-hop and breakbeat.
In 2001 they record the album Retornar de las Mareas. The video clip Los Idiotas is premiered at the Video Arts Festival in Colombia. Andres Zunino joins the group.
In 2002 Adrian Bertol, having joined Zort on stage as a guest performer on numerous occasions, becomes a full member of the group.
In 2003 the group record an album called Mas Poco and perform a series of audiovisual concerts throughout Europe. The same year Agustin Goya has to leave for work-related reasons, (but his energy and spirit continue to live on in the group’s music.)
In 2005, Zort independently record the album Foco Lejos and complete a promotional tour of the album throughout Germany, Spain and the Czech Republic.
In 2006, Zort present some of their compositions and video clips in Mexico DF, as part of the showacse for Argentine label Pino Rec.
In 2007, Zort independently release their fifth album, Nublado con Sol, and undertake a new tour in Europe to promote the CD, beginning at the prestigious Experimenta Club festival in Madrid, Spain.
